From experience, I know that stories create connection.

Here’s a little bit of mine.

From experience, I know that stories create connection.

Here’s a little bit of mine.

My letters home from summer camp were epic. I started acting onstage around age 10, and it was also then that I first picked up a camera and started developing my own photos.

Later, I studied writing, photography, theater, and social sciences, getting degrees in socio-cultural anthropology and performance art. I became a journalist, an editor, a publicist, a storyteller, a marketing consultant… all part of my relentless pursuit to capture and express the beauty I saw in the world, and share that with others.

My life has always been about capturing and expressing all the beauty I saw and felt in any way that I could.

Walkway

I began to understand that what I was feeling in these moments was a connection to the divine, and took up a more dedicated study of spirituality via journeys through meditation and energetic healing schools and practices, 12-step, therapy, coaching, and in workshops and mentorship with other coaches and healers.

Somewhere along the way I realized that the joy I feel in those moments of clicking into the truth are available to anyone, and that the journey I had been on was not random—I’d been developing the skills to hold space, communicate, relate, and help people unfold the stories of their own lives.

Now this is what I live for: to bring all of my training, experience, and passion toward helping people fall in love with themselves the way I fall in love with them.

I can feel people’s truest expression wanting to come into form, and I am devoted to helping bring whatever that is to life.

My days are made more beautiful by my son Jonah, and supporting his dreams for his band, Moonbug as “mom-ager.” We live in an apartment at the beach with our two cats Yukon and Diana. I love cooking, visiting hot springs, walking on beaches and in the woods, playing ukelele, singing, and writing. I take every opportunity to learn something new and deepen my own growth.

I hold an MA in Interdisciplinary Arts from San Francisco State University and a BA in Socio-Cultural Anthropology from UC Berkeley. I have trained in theater, coaching, sexuality, energy work, anti-racism, and communication arts, studying with renowned teachers including Ruth Zaporah, Sarah Shelton Mann, Nina Wise, Maxine Hong Kingston, Keith Johnstone, William Hall, Betty Martin, Reid Mihalko, Brig Feltus, Lynda Caesara, and the Human Awareness Institute.
